A New SVP/Sales For iHeartMedia/Chicago Is Sealed

Adam Kurtz has been named SVP/Sales for the Chicago Region at iHeartMedia.


In this role, Kurtz “will be responsible for all sales operations for the region that delivers a strong return on investment for clients reaching consumers through iHeartMedia’s unmatched assets, including on-air, online, social media, personalities and live events,” the company said in a release distributed Tuesday.

He reports to Matt Scarano, President of the Chicago Region for iHeartMedia.

“Adam is a dynamic leader with an unparalleled skill set that makes him the perfect choice to lead our sales team,” said Scarano. “Adam is a proven winner with an amazing track record. His wealth of knowledge, passion and superior business acumen will serve him well in his new role.”

Kurtz joined iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region in 2001 and rose from an AE to LSM and GSM  before his promotion to VP/Sales in 2015.

“I am extremely excited to lead such a talented sales team and continue representing the very best media and entertainment brands in Chicago and across the country,” said Kurtz.
