Spot cable has proven to be a popular home for quick-service restaurant brands.
In the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report, one big hamburger chain is still the leader by spot plays. However, its No. 1 competitor is back in the Spot Ten, using these visual spots with a reinvigorated radio campaign to help build sales.
It’s McDonald’s, at No. 10 (up from No. 48) for the week ending Oct. 13.
The entry comes as Burger King dips from No. 2 to No. 4.
The only other quick-food brand present is Domino’s. The pizza-heavy delivery QSR is No. 2, thanks to nearly 50,000 spots — putting Domino’s ahead of a very active Liberty Mutual Insurance.
