As far as Bill Wilson, CEO of Townsquare Media is concerned, his company “continues the momentum from the first half of 2019 and had a very strong Q3.”
Indeed, Townsquare enjoyed healthy increases in its advertising net revenue. And, Townsquare advertising net revenue climbed 5.2% year-over-year, and 7.3% ex-political, while total Townsquare Interactive revenue surged by 26% from Q3 2018.
But, direct operating expenses were also up. Did that impact Townsquare’s net income in the quarter? Nope.
