U.S. financial markets saw largely tame trading on Thursday, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed by 22.38 points to 24,553.24. Nasdaq was up 47.69, to 7,073.46.
Also up: Nexstar Media Group, which is again on track for a new all-time high.
At the closing bell, NXST was up $1.38 to $83.11.
What about Nielsen, the subject of a privatization effort similar to the one that snapped up VNU in 2006?
Shares slipped 21 cents, to $25.28.
