On August 1, 2018, a Class B AM with 10kw during daylight hours and 5kw at night fell silent. It was once a Davidson Media station offering Spanish-language programming, and its past includes ownership by Truth Broadcasting and Jefferson-Pilot Communications.
Now, this forlorn station serving the Triad region of North Carolina is getting a new lease on life.
