A Tribute To A ‘Legend’ Of An Engineer

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday (9/19) in Wyoming for an individual who maintained some 18 radio stations and was revered for his “immaculate” transmitter sites.

“He was one of the most professionally dedicated engineers in broadcast history,” says Media Information Bureau featured columnist Ken Benner. “He accompanied me for each of his station inspections despite the substantial mileage involved for him.”

Now, many across America in addition to the Mountain West are pausing to remember Charlie Dozier, Director of Engineering for a group of stations owned by one of the nation’s top media brokers, Larry Patrick.
