A new FM/HD radio rebroadcast translator receiver from California-based Inovonics has received the “HD Radio Certificate of Compliance” from the iBiquity Test Center. As a result, the “AARON 655” is now ready for shipping.

Inovonics introduced the receiver at the 2017 NAB Show in Las Vegas, and the company calls the AARON 665 the first of its kind.

That’s because it combines an FM/HD Radio Receiver with an Audio Processor, Dynamic RDS Encoder, and IP-Streaming.

Some of the notable features of the 655 include a DSP-base (SDR) receiver; program sources including HD 1-8, IP-streaming, and Analog/AES Line Inputs; a RDS Encoder that converts HD Pad Data, IP-stream Meta Data or Telnet Data; a powerful three-band audio processor with factory presets for easy set-up; assignable failover audio backup; dynamic web interface for remote control and monitoring; and alarms and notifications via email/SMS/SNMP.

The AARON 655 is available now with a factory list price of $2,600.
