With coverage of the 2011 NBA Finals (Miami-Dallas Game 4), ABC ranked #1 on Tuesday in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd week in row, outdelivering runner-up NBC with America’s Got Talent leading into a 2-hour edition of The Voice.

The Net also won the night for the 2nd week running with Adults 18-34 and across all key Men (M18-34/M18-49/M25-54).

Airing around the NBA Finals in various time periods across the country, the Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night special produced broad exposure for the ABC late-night show in prime.

On average, JKL Game Night more than doubled its late night ’10-11 season averages in Total Viewers (+106%) and Adults 18-49 (+120%).

The 2011 NBA Finals on ABC Game 4 (8:58-11:52pm ET), between the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks, jumped over its primetime competition to stand as Tuesday’s #1 television program in Total Viewers and across each of the key Adult demographics (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54).

In the Adult 18-49 sales demo, The Finals on ABC have qualified as the #1 TV program of the night for 23 straight broadcasts.

Dallas rallied in the 4th quarter to win the game by a score of 86-83 and tie up the best-of-seven series 2-2.

In Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, the 2011 NBA Finals on ABC scored the highest Game 4 numbers since 2004 with the Lakers-Pistons match-up.

Based on 4-game averages, the 2011 NBA Finals is trending above last year’s high-rated Lakers-Celtics match-up among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, marking The Finals’ strongest numbers in 7 years – since 2004.

Compared to the last time the same two teams met in The Finals in 2006, the Miami-Dallas 2011 NBA Finals is up by wide margins in Total Viewers (+30%) and Adults 18-49 (+31%).
