ABC’s DWTS tops The Voice

ABCDuring the 8 o’clock hour, ABC’s DWTS: All Stars — Results Show topped NBC’s The Voice in head-to-head competition by a season-best 3.6 million viewers. In addition from 8-9pm in Adults 18-49, ABC’s Dancing results program outdelivered Fox’s comedies by 46% (Raising Hope/Ben and Kate). In another double elimination, Apolo Anton Ohno and Emmitt Smith were the next two dancers eliminated from the competition this season.  Building its numbers for its 2nd straight telecast, DWTS: Results Show was up week to week by 6% in Total Viewers, by 18% in Adults 18-34 and by 25% in Teens 12-17, hitting season highs on the latter two measures.


In the 9pm half-hour, ABC’s Happy Endings drew a 20% bigger overall audience than Fox’s time-period veteran, New Girl.  In fact Happy Endings pulled in more viewers than all 4 of Fox’s Tuesday comedies for the 2nd week in a row, while also outdrawing NBC’s The New Normal. Gaining 11% week to week, Happy Endings attracted its 2nd-largest audience of the season.

In the 9:30pm half-hour, ABC’s Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 beat out Fox’s The Mindy Project by 19% in Total Viewers.  Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 grew its overall audience by 3% from the previous week.

During the 10 o’clock hour, ABC’s Private Practice increased over the prior week by 11% in Total Viewers and by 9% in Adults 18-49.
