Academy of Country Music Awards set for April 3rd


The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, honoring country music’s top talent and the industry’s hottest emerging talent, is set for Sunday, April 3rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The awards show will be broadcast on CBS (8:00-11:00 pm live ET/delayed PT).

In addition to the awards broadcast, the Academy will tape an all-star concert special, “Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country,” at the same location the following night. It will air at a later date on CBS. 

Both shows are produced for television by dick clark productions.  Orly Adelson and R.A. Clark are executive producers, Barry Adelman is producer and Bob Bardo is executive in charge of production.  Bob Romeo is executive producer for the Academy of Country Music.
