Additional Orban Teleconferences Scheduled

0

The founder of broadcast and online media audio processing company Orban Labs is putting the final touches on presentations he will deliver on a subject he’s quite well-versed in: advanced audio processing techniques.

Company founder Bob Orban will conduct three upcoming teleconferences, to be presented at select SBE chapter meetings. Mr. Orban will make a 45-minute presentation at each meeting on audio processing and loudness control.

Q&A opportunities will follow.

Orban’s presentations discuss techniques for processing bass (including subharmonic synthesis), the uses and pitfalls of de-clippers, use of multidimensional phase correction to maximize mono reception while minimizing multipath distortion, and use of parallel compression for pre-processing.

Television presentations also include Orban’s approach to automatic, CALM-Act compliant loudness control.

The teleconferences are sponsored by Broadcast Supply Worldwide (BSW), a longtime distributor of Orban OPTIMOD audio processors.

Meetings have been scheduled for these locations:

November 13: Binghamton, N.Y., SBE Chapter 1
December 10: El Paso, Tex., SBE Chapter 38
January 22, 2020: Central Pennsylvania, SBE Chapter 41

Any SBE chapter wishing to set up a teleconference with Mr. Orban is encouraged to contact Orban Labs.
