On July 1, 1957, a 1kw AM serving a small town in Southern Alabama signed on the air as a daytime-only operation. Today, this Class D station broadcasts 24 hours a day, with 177 watts after dark.

It’s had many licensees over its 62 years of existence, and it is now being handed to its latest owner.
