Alpha Media Pacts With Futuri On Audience Engagement


PORTLAND, ORE. — Futuri Media, the Software-as-a-Service tech firm founded by Dan Anstandig, has reached “a wide-ranging deal” with Alpha Media.

The newly forged partnership empowers all 228 of Alpha’s stations with multiple tools from Futuri Media’s suite of audience engagement products.

Specifically, each Alpha Media station will have access to podcasting system POST, which instantly turns broadcasts into PPM-encoded on-demand audio, complete with fully licensed images, and distributes on multiple platforms; and customized Alexa Skills, enabling all stations to make streams, on-demand content, and interactive features accessible in the hugely-growing Alexa-enabled device market.

More than 50 select Alpha stations will have access to TopicPulse, which RBR+TVBR discussed in an exclusive interview with Anstandig on Monday (1/15).
