Alpine Electronics’ IVA-W505, an automotive iTunes Tagging-enabled HD Radio receiver, has officially hit retail. Connected to the TUA-T550HD HD Radio tuner, the IVA-W505 head unit enables consumers to “tag” and download songs played by HD Radio broadcasters and buy them on iTunes. This follows last week’s news about the Polk iSonic ES2’s arrival in 170 Apple stores coast-to-coast and the Apple’s online store.
