ALSAC/St. Jude Goes To Scripps For A Digital Hire

Chase Snider will be joining the ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital team as Senior Digital Product Owner, Mobile and Emerging Platforms.


In his new role, Snider will work on the digital team at ALSAC, the fundraising arm of the Memphis-based children’s cancer hospital. He will work within the product group to drive brand awareness and digital fundraising results through product innovation and development.

Snider comes from a seven-year stint in the media and communication industry with The E.W. Scripps Company. He started as an on-air news reporter for CMA Station of the Year KTTS-FM in Springfield, Missouri. before taking on a digital management role for Scripps’ CBS affiliate KMTV in Omaha, Nebraska.

In his most recent role, Snider oversaw Scripps’ digital audience and product strategy for its 34 station Radio division. He has been an advocate for integrating digital content and generating omnichannel engagement across multiple verticals. In addition, he oversaw the development and launch of the division’s Alexa and OTT streaming strategy.

“I could not be more excited to find an opportunity that allows me to take a leap in my career alongside a mission-driven cause that I am incredibly passionate about,” Snider said.

He has been a St. Jude supporter for several years. Most recently, his #ChaseRuns fundraising campaign received attention as he crossed the 500-day mark of consecutively running to raise funds for the organization.

“The work being done at St. Jude is changing the way the world thinks about childhood cancer and sets a new standard for creating a culture of compassion,” Snider said. “That same spirit extends to the business operations at ALSAC to ensure the hospital has the resources to continue its ground-breaking research and make sure no family pays for treatment, housing or travel for decades to come.”

Snider starts his new role in Memphis on August 6.
