AMA goes multimedia for coverage message


The American Medical Association knows it can’t lick every disease out there. But it has a something in mind for immediate action: "There’s one condition the AMA is ready to cure. One that afflicts 46 million and causes us to live sicker and die younger — the lack of health insurance." It’s ready to use a multimedia platform to get its message out. The organization has bipartisan support for its message, kicking of its program with Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), and U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX) on hand. Broadcast, print and online elements are included in the campaign.
