Brick-and-mortar retailers aren’t the only ones using spot cable to drum up holiday business.
Look at what Amazon.com is doing.
According to the Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report for the week ending Dec. 8, Amazon.com is now the No. 4 advertiser using the medium.
It’s thanks to more than 46,000 spots as detected by Media Monitors.
This puts Amazon.com right up there with Walmart and JCPenney as the holiday shopping season reaches its zenith.
Also getting a big push this week is Target.
And, there is the iRobot — a campaign tied to holiday sales meriting the No. 9 spot overall.
