Against an onslaught of reality shows (premieres, finales, I think there was a special on, you name it)…Survivor, Big Brother, America’s Got Talent, MasterChef…I’m sure there were some crazy reality on cable as well…

Our own reality show America’s Next Top Model actually built over last week’s premiere, improving 7% among adults 18-34 (1.5/5), 5% in women 18-34 (2.2/7), 6% in women 18-49 (1.9/6), 21% in females 12-34 (2.3/8), 8% in persons 12-34 (1.4/4) and 4% in viewers (2.9mil).  Top Model was flat week-to-week in adults 18-49 (1.3/4).

Top Model was on-par with its second week from last year’s fall edition Top Model (cycle 13), in all key categories.

Top Model built in the 8:30 half hour in every demo, including 20% in women 18-34, 7% in adults 18-34, 17% in women 18-34 17% in women 18-49, 17% in adults 18-49 and 15% in total viewers.

The second outing of Hellcats held up well in the face of the big reality-palooza elsewhere.  Hellcats retained 86% in adults 18-34 (1.2/4), 92% in adults 18-49 (1.1/3) and 90% in total viewers compared to the series debut.

Hellcats delivered big time period gains for The CW compared to a year ago, up 55% in women 18-34 (1.7/5), 50% in adults 18-34 (1.2/4), 56% in women 18-49 (1.4/4), 83% in adults 18-49 (1.1/3), 93% in total viewers (2.8mil).

With Top Model and Hellcats, The CW has boosted its Wednesday night performance compared to last year.  Overall, The CW is up 12% in women 18-34 (1.9/6), 8% in adults 18-34 (1.3/4), 13% in women 18-49 (1.7/5), 20% in adults 18-49, 136% in female teens (2.6/10), 114% in teens (1.5/6) and 33% in total viewers.
