America's Radio News Network adding 6PM-9PM block

This is almost the last piece of the puzzle for Talk Radio Network Syndications’ goal of offering 15 hours a day of news programming. The third installment, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET, will launch 5/9. By then, affiliates or potential affiliates will be able to “flip” to all news during the day, or a combination of news and talk dayparts. At that point, ARNN will be providing nine hours back-to-back programming from noon to 9:00 p.m. ET, of its planned 15 hours a day. Its first 3-hour daily block of all news programming (Monday-Friday noon to 3 p.m. ET), launched 1/24. ARNN is launching its second three-hour daily all-news programming block 3/28 at 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“We cover 10 to 12 stories with four to six audio actualities each quarter hour – the perfect PPM solution for an A.D.D. world.   Stations love the long-form news product so much they are asking for more of it sooner – we are frankly stunned by the demand!” says Mark Masters, CEO of America’s Radio News Network, and its representative, Talk Radio Network Syndications, Ltd. “With all of the life changing events in this world, the likes of which we haven’t seen since WWII, our affiliates are telling us that this level of high quality non-partisan news product is a must have, especially from a ‘safe buy’ revenue perspective.”
