Schurz Communications is buying KTUU-TV (Ch. 2, NBC) Anchorage, AK from long-time owner Zaser & Longston Inc., with the parties noting that it is the top-rated television station in the market. The price was not immediately disclosed.

“Our core values include exceptional service to our communities by being the leader in local news, information and public service. Schurz also announced that KTUU’s long-time general manager, Al Bramstedt, has reached an agreement to remain actively involved at the station after the sale closes.

Greg D.
