Los Angeles Anaheim AngelsThe Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and CRC Media West’s Team 1010 KXPS Palm Springs will bring Angels Baseball to the Coachella Valley for the 2012 MLB season. Team 1010 KXPS with the help of sister station Money Radio 1200 will broadcast all 162 regular season games plus playoffs. Coverage begins opening day 4/6 with a 7:05 pm first pitch as the Kansas City Royals visit Albert Pujols and the Angels.

The Angels are coming into to spring training after what many consider the biggest off season moves by signing first baseman, Albert Pujols and pitcher C.J. Wilson. These two join a solid lineup of seasoned veterans like Tori Hunter and Jered Weaver, along with rookie sensation Mike Trout to challenge for the American League West crown.

“Art Moreno has proven he is dedicated to bringing a quality sports product to Southern  California” commented Team 1010 PD Brian Jewett.  “Something we can relate to as we continue to localize the Coachella Valley’s only all sports station.”

In addition to the game broadcast, there will be an increased Angels presence on the new station’s web site team1010.com and with special shows and features as the season progresses.
