Animation Sunday at FOX pulls No. 1 in Adults 18-34 and Teens

With a mix of Animation Domination originals and encores, FOX ranked No. 2 last night among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 among Adults 18-34, Teens and Men 18-49/18-34.


At 8p THE SIMPSONS delivered a 2.8/8 among Adults 18-49, up +4%, from last week (vs. 2.7/8). THE SIMPSONS ranked No. 2 in the half hour among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens, Women 18-34 and all key male demos. 

At 8:30p an encore THE CLEVELAND SHOW posted a 2.4/7 among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 2 in the time period among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens and Men 18-49/18-34.

An encore FAMILY GUY at 9p posted a 3.2/8 among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 2 in the half hour among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens and all key male demos. 

At 9:30p, an original AMERICAN DAD drew a 2.7/7 among Adults 18-49, up +8% from last week (2.5/6) despite its encore lead-in and ranked No. 2 in the half hour among Adults 18-49 (tie) and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens and all key male demos. 

TIL DEATH aired at 7p (0.8/3) followed by an encore THE SIMPSONS at 7:30p (1.2/4).  
Competition
Following America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.7/6) and a repeat Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (1.7/5), ABC’s Desperate Housewives (3.3/8) was flat with last week and matched its lowest original rating ever, falling -23% from its prior season average with first-run episodes (4.3/10).  Brothers & Sisters (2.4/6) at 10p increased +9% versus last week but was down -17% from its prior average (2.9/8).

CBS aired low-rated episodes of 60 Minutes (1.6/5), Amazing Race 16 (3.1/9, down -9%) and the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story (1.2/3), which was down -43% from the season’s early Hallmark movie, A Dog Named Christmas (2.1/5 on 11/29/09).

NBC’s Dateline Sunday (1.1/4) was on par while Minute To Win It (1.8/5) was a repeat. At 9p, The Apprentice 9: Celebrity Edition (3.0/8) gained +20% week over week but remained in line with its prior season average.
