In August 2010, the Korean Gospel Broadcasting Network took on ownership of a directional, two-pattern Class B AM at 1190 kHz, serving the entire Los Angeles market from Anaheim, Calif.
In April 2018, it filed an application for an FM translator with the FCC. The Media Bureau eventually said no, leading KGBN-AM 1190‘s licensee to file an Application for Review.
