Curtis Media’s Eastern Airwaves has  been snapping up FM translators of late, and now has a deal for yet another serving Greensboro NC.

The latest deal is for W228CM, a CP actually licensed to Greensboro. It is coming from Wake Forest University.

According to Media Services Group broker Bob Heymann, the price will be $125K.

The station will operate on 93.5 MHz with 200 W @ 351’ and decent coverage of the city.

According to Heymann, the station will join another translator CP in the Curtis portfolio – the group closed on its acquisition of W249CN earlier this year. Licensed to Fairfield NC, the 97.7 MHz facility also puts a decent signal over Greensboro.
