0 is targeting rent-worthy individuals still living at home by some humorous yet uncomfortable moments with their older parents. Its first-ever TV campaign, the two 30-second spots via Contagious LA conjures up images many would soon hope to forget. The spots create a sense of urgency for finding an apartment, and then provide viewers with the destination to answer their apartment needs.

Running simultaneously and airing now during popular primetime programming, “Date Night” and “Family Shower” carry the tagline “Need An Apartment?” nationwide.

RBR-TVBR observation: While the creative is a bit humorous, it’s more a downer for the son living at home than anything else. The son does not have the look on his face, nor does the spot imply, that he’s anywhere close to being able to afford an apartment. Perhaps mixing in a briefcase or work uniform in the mix for these spots would have helped.
