Arbitron RADAR 110: Dial-Global tops again

Arbitron rankers for network radio Persons aged 18-49 and Persons aged 25-54 have Dial-Global’s Complete FM Network, Contemporary Network and Adult Power once gain topping the lists. Dial Global also has the top three rated networks, and five of the top twelve in Adults 25-54, M-S 5a12m, all broadcasts.

Topline results from today’s release of Arbitron’s latest RADAR Survey below. As with all RADAR surveys, these estimates reflect audiences to cleared network commercials.

Highlights:

·       New networks in the RADAR 110 Standard Report: Metro Latino, replacing Hispanic Advantage.

·       Other changes in RADAR 110: Hispanic Select now has 56 minutes of inventory (up from 53).

·       Network Radio Gross Impressions are down -2.2% with A 18-49 and -1.8% with A 25-54 since RADAR 109 – June 2011.

·       PPM Data from all PPM markets are included in RADAR 110. The last group of PPM markets to roll-in to the RADAR sample base contributes 75% PPM data and 25% Diary data. Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, Jacksonville FL, West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, Memphis, and Hartford-New Britain-Middleton. All PPM markets will contribute 100% PPM data in RADAR 111.

Overall Radio Average Audience was down about -5%, depending on the format.

These estimates reflect the changes in the standard published RADAR 110 report. It does not include audience changes reflected in any Special Tabulations. Citadel Media will be doing Special Tabulations on Family FM, FM Connection and Prime Reach.

In RADAR 110, there were 56 different measured media outlets available to national advertisers seeking to reach listeners though network radio. United Stations Radio Networks’ Impact network also showed some good increases, based on weekday daypart averages for Monday-Friday, 6am – 7pm:
