A Citigroup analyst upgraded consumer products giant Procter & Gamble. And since P&G is a huge advertiser, that was good news for media stocks as well. The Dow Industrials were up 36 points, or 0.4%, to 9,820.
The RBR Radio Index rose 2.942, or 3.5%, to 120.393 – the high since October 26, 2007.
The TVBR Television Index rose 10.309, or 9.3%, to 121.610 – the all-time high.
