MIAMI — The U.S. population 13+ spends 4 hours and 5 minutes per day listening to audio.


This number was “sinking,” but in 2021 rebounded — perhaps a pandemic-fueled trend. However, with the rise in podcasts and streaming audio, the “Share of Ear” is greater.

Where to Latinos stand on all of this? “We are carrying the team,” Edison Research Director of Research Gabriel Soto shared with Hispanic Radio Conference attendees on Thursday afternoon.
