If you were one of the 180 clients and reporters who had logged on for Arbitron’s PPM update this afternoon (Wednesday), you didn’t learn much. Audio difficulties caused Arbitron to cancel the telephone/webcast. The company did issue stats for the “Holiday” ratings period, the 13th month of PPM ratings, declaring that it had once again hit its sample targets. That material is being posted on the Arbitron website this afternoon and the company says it will reschedule the webcast.
