AudioWorks Links With Alpha Libraries for Radio On Production Pact

A group of seasoned radio writers, producers and voice artists experienced in the art of producing effective commercial advertising for audio media consumers is partnering with a radio-ready production library company on a single-service option for AM and FM radio stations across the U.S.

The partnership brings together Audioworks LLC, the writer/producer collective, and Alpha Libraries for Radio.

The result of the pact, the groups hope, is “to make full-service, agency-quality audio production available” to Radio.

“When I’m told listeners don’t like commercials, I throw the challenge flag,” says Audioworks LLC’s principal Copywriter and Producer Craig Michaels. “Every February, people tune in to the Super Bowl specifically to watch the ads, because they know they’ll be entertained. Some of those spots became cultural touchstones. Our imaginative team was brought together to work with account executives and clients to do the same for radio — create spots that are as entertaining as the programming.”

Veteran radio industry programmer Steve Wall is VP of radio and library services for Alpha Libraries and related firm SourceAudio. The former KMXV/Kansas City PD says, “Great production needs great tools, and advertisers expect results. Craig and the team at Audioworks LLC are some of radio’s best creative craftsmen today and deliver terrific ROI. Alpha is excited to be involved!”

Audioworks LLC will offer copywriting, production services, and voice talent in a subscription package. A set number of spots will be delivered for a fixed monthly fee.

Service on a one-shot, stand-alone basis will also be available.
