Howard Eisen, EVP/Sales for American Urban Radio Networks, tells RBR-TVBR he’s very excited about the partnership and that their products and AURN’s are very synergistic together in terms of reaching the African-American audience. “We’re creating more inventory for our clients to reach this key audience.”
In fact, they will be creating a new, fourth RADAR-rated network from the deal: “AURN Elite.” It will offer five minutes of premium inventory weekly.
AURN will rep SupeRadio’s urban products and services to media buyers and advertisers. Some of the programs include: “Back Spin Weekend “with Spinderella (of Salt N’ Pepa fame) and “Kissing After Dark” with Lenny Green live evenings 7 p.m.-12 midnight from the studios of WRKS-FM in New York.
Jerry Lopes, President of Program Operations & Affiliations for AURN added that the deal clearly strengthens their position as the number one provider of urban programming in the world.
SupeRadio offerings also include “Gossip on the Go” with Flo Anthony, “Café Mocha” with MC Lyte, talk programs, weekend inspirational programs and a number of urban adult and young end mix shows.
SupeRadio is a division of Access 1, which is a partner of American Urban Radio Networks.
