American Women in Radio & Television (AWRT) named the recipient of the 2009 AWRT Achievement Award: Chickie Bucco, President Katz Direct Marketing. The Achievement Award, which is bestowed annually, honors an AWRT member who has helped strengthen the role of AWRT within the industry and contributed to the betterment of the electronic media industry. The 2009 Achievement Award will be presented at AWRT’s Annual Women’s Media Forum to be held in DC  March 5-6, 2010.

Bucco has been a long-standing member and supporter of AWRT at both a national and local level.  She is an active member of the AWRT New York City Chapter and past Chapter President.  During her involvement with AWRT, she has been one its greatest advocates and mentored and inspired countless women.
