Bank of America reported better than expected Q3 results and financial issues led the stock market higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 180 points, or 1.6%, to 11,577. Broadcasting stocks also had a good day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.209, or 2.7%, to 276.066.
The TVBR Television Index was up 7.589, or 3.5%, to 225.274.
