Bargain in Sheboygan


MidwestThe radio holdings of Midwest Communications are about to welcome a new member into the family, an FM translator that will be legally associated with the company’s lone AM in the area. Broker: Eddie Esserman, Media Services Group

The station is 101.5 MHz W268BR-FM.

The seller is Edgewater Broadcasting Inc., headed by President Clark Parrish.

CFO Paul Rahmlow signed off on the transaction for Midwest Communications Inc.

The price is $34,000

The translator is associated with WHBL-AM Sheboygan. It’s a Class B on 1330 kHz with 5 kW-D, 1 kW-N, DA2.

Other Midwest stations in the market include WHBZ-FM, WBFM-FM and WXER-FM.

Sheboygan is located on the shores of Lake Michigan north of Milwaukee. Eastlan provides ratings service to the market.
