Bayliss Auction extended

0

If you haven’t gotten around to bidding in the broadcasting equipment auction to benefit the John Bayliss Broadcast Foundation, you’ve gotten a reprieve until Wednesday, August 12th. The auction boasts an extensive list of items, even some for non-techie types.

For example, there’s an Epiphone acoustic guitar signed by Kenney Chesney, Naomi Judd, Ricky Skaggs and other artists at the 1994 CMA Week in Nashville.

Need a transmitter? There’s a Collins 831-G 20kw FM, a Harris MW50 50kw AM and several others available.

The current bid is only $1.00 on a “GECCOMMAND-RELAY $396 BURK CURRENT COSTBURK GECVRC-COM” – and, no, we have no idea what that is. But if you need one, it looks like a heck of a buy!

There are no minimum bids or reserves. For details and to register to bid, click here.

The top priority at the Bayliss Foundation is to encourage aspiring young talent in radio and help develop them into tomorrow’s industry leaders. Winning bids will provide critical funding for the Foundation’s scholarship and internship programs.
