The woman who has served as Director of Interactive Marketing at Beasley Media Group is being promoted to the role of VP/Digital Marketing.

Taking the elevated role at Beasley is Jennifer Williams, who will now be responsible for marketing the radio broadcasting company’s digital content platforms and leveraging data to drive traffic, audience engagement and advertiser growth.

Williams joined Beasley following the company’s merger acquisition with Greater Media, where she spent 20 years.

There, she was a director of digital marketing and was responsible for overseeing the interactive marketing efforts on behalf of the now-defunct company’s 20 radio properties.

Williams joined Greater Media in 1997 by taking the role of Marketing Director at Detroit-based Classic Rocker WCSX-FM.

Williams also has on-air experience, and has been at WODJ-FM in Lansing, WJXQ-FM in Grand Rapids and at WIBM-AM in Jackson, Mich.

“Jennifer’s programming background, combined with her digital knowledge, marketing expertise and can-do attitude, made her the perfect choice to lead Beasley Media Group’s digital marketing efforts as we continue to diversify and extend our brands into the multi-platform arena,” said Chief Digital Content Officer Lori Burgess, who Williams reports to.

Williams is a past chair and current board member of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation. She also serves on the executive committee of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group.
