Beasley Las Vegas ups “Hammer”

Beasley Broadcast Las Vegas announcd the promotion of Brian Hammer to the newly created position of Music Director of KVGS-FM 107.9 BOB FM. Hammer joined KVGS-FM in June of 2013 and is currently the morning show host on BOB FM, Monday – Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., an on-air position he will continue to hold. Hammer reports to Program Director John Candelaria and Market Manager Tom Humm.


Hammer started his radio career in New York City at WXRK, K-ROCK. He was born in Chicago and raised in Southern California before becoming a promotion’s assistant at WXRK-FM, Howard Stern’s flagship station.  He has worked at WBAB-FM in Long Island, WDHA-FM, KKXX-FM and KRAB-FM in Bakersfield California, then onto KDKB-FM, KEXX-FM, KPKX-FM in Phoenix prior to joining Beasley Broadcast Las Vegas as BOB FM’s morning show host.
