LAS VEGAS — Beasley Media Group has rolled the dice and landed a veteran radio executive who will be making the trek from Nashville to its five-station, six-brand Las Vegas cluster as the new VP/Market Manager.

Taking the leadership role for KDWN-AM, KKLZ-FM, KCYE-FM and HD2, KOAS-FM & KVGS-FM in Southern Nevada is Dennis Gwiazdon.

He started his new role Thursday (1/11), and joins the company after serving as VP/Market Manager of WCJK-FM, WJXA-FM & WNFN-FM in Nashville, now owned by Midwest Communications and formerly owned by South Central Communications.

Gwiazdon has also served as the president of the Nashville Area Radio Association and is a past president and current board member of American Advertising Federation/Nashville.

Before moving to Music City, Gwiazdon spent many years in San Diego. For the former Nationwide Communications, he was VP/GM of KMCG-FM and KXGL-FM. Before that, he was VP/GM of KPOP-AM & KGB-FM for Brown Broadcasting Company. He was also President of a sales and advertising consultancy, Sales Insights, working in partnership with Coleman Insights.

Gwiazdon has also worked at KRWM-FM in Seattle and at KKAT-FM in Salt Lake City.

“It’s a privilege to welcome Dennis to the Beasley Media Group family,” said Beasley Media Group EVP/COO Brian Beasley. “His proven track record, combined with his leadership skills, is the perfect fit for our Las Vegas cluster as we continue to grow and expand our business in the market.”

Gwiazdon added, “I’m absolutely thrilled about joining the Beasley team. There is tremendous potential for us in Las Vegas and I’m grateful that Caroline, Brian and Bruce are giving me the opportunity to make a difference.”
