Sports Radio 560 Miami announced that, starting September 7th, Sid Rosenberg will be on air mid-days, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and will also host the Miami Dolphins Post-Game Show. Sid replaces longtime ratings puller Neil Rogers, who left the station after uttering an “f-bomb” in June.

Since 2005, Rosenberg has been part of the South Florida scene, hosting the morning show on WAXY-AM.  Previous to that, he hosted the Sports Guys Morning Show on WNEW-FM in New York City, and then moved to WFAN-AM to join the Don Imus Show.  In addition to working with Imus, he was co-host of the mid-day show on WFAN.  He continues to be a contributor to both the Don Imus Show and the Howard Stern Show.

In early 2010, Sid Rosenberg has a book coming out titled, You’re Wrong and You’re Ugly, a collection of sports memories and opinions with chapters on well-known players, personalities, actors and broadcasters.

“I’ve been a fan of WQAM for years, starting when I would visit South Florida as a young sports enthusiast,” said Mr. Rosenberg.  “This is a tremendous opportunity to work with the best South Florida has to offer!”

Joe Bell, VP and Market Manager for Beasley’s Miami Radio cluster, commented, “A great team is made up of great players and Sid is certainly one of the greats in sports broadcasting.”
