New worries about opposition from Congressional Democrats to the White House tax deal with Republicans put a lid on stock prices and produced a mixed day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down two points at 11,370. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite were each up a bit. Broadcasting stocks outperformed the market.
The RBR Radio Index was up 9.136, or 3.2%, to 294.324.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.596, or 0.8%, to 212.075.
