Bible Broadcasting buys FM with growth aspirations


The widespread station portfolio of Lowell Davey’s Bible Broadcasting Network is about to spread a little wider with the acquisition of a Class A FM in southern Michigan that is planning to expand to Class B1. The station is WCWB-FM, licensed to Coldwater MI.

The seller is Michiana Christian Broadcasters Inc. It is headed by Wayne S. Reese, and it will receive $300K cash for the station.

WCWB is position firmly in the reserved band at 90.1 MHz. It currently operates with 250 watts with an antenna HAAT of 62’. When its upgrade to B1 is completed, it will increase to 25 kw at 279’.
