Both Wal-Mart and Home Depot reported strong Q2 results and sent stock prices broadly higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 104 points, or 1%, to 10,406. Good news from retailers is good news for broadcasters.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.831, or 1.1%, to 256.105.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.472, or 2.6%, to 179.840.
