Big week for cable

0

Summer audiences are, admittedly, smaller, but the numbers posted last week by three cable shows are impressive.

If you take the weekly Nielsen chart from our story yesterday and add in cable programs, three would join the top 20 list for Household ratings. Not only that, but “Jon & Kate Plus 8” – the divorce announcement episode – was beaten by only two shows on broadcast television networks in HH ratings.

And the BET Awards Show, billed as a tribute to Michael Jackson, had even more total viewers, although it was further back in the HH ratings.
