50,000 watt KRCN-AM 1060/Denver, and 10,000 watt KKKK-AM 1580/Colorado Springs are flipping to a new and unique all Business Talk format effective 9/1. They’ll be branded as “BizRadio Colorado.”
Biz Radio Colorado, LLC has entered into a three year agreement with Dr. Gene Hood, President of Pilgrim Communications, owner of KRCN and KKKK, to program the stations and bring important financial information to the “Front Range.” The format is the brainchild of Daniel Frishberg, principle in the new company formed to operate the Denver outlet. He is founder and CEO of Houston-based BizRadio Network and is Chairman of Frishberg & Kaleta Advisors, a registered investment advisor. Frishberg is also the Chief Investment Strategist of LafferFrishberg.com.
BizRadio Network also operates BizRadio formats on major radio stations in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, Texas. Joining Frishberg in this new Colorado venture is Ron Crider, longtime veteran broadcaster and President of Global American Enterprises, Inc and the GAB Radio Network, the company that provides national syndication services to the BizRadio Network.
