Bloomberg Taps Triton

Bloomberg Media has picked audio industry tech provider Triton Digital to manage, measure, and monetize its digital audio content.

The partnership, forged in late September, allows Bloomberg Media to use Triton’s streaming technology to deliver financial information and news content to digitally savvy listeners across the U.S.

Specifically, Bloomberg will use the Triton Advertising Platform (Tap) to “monetize the content,” it says. Bloomberg will also use Triton’s Webcast Metrics to measure their listening audience.

Bloomberg Media’s inventory will also be available via Triton’s programmatic audio ad exchange, a2x.

Marc Siegel, Head of U.S. Advertising Sales for Bloomberg Media, commented, “We have been aggressive in bringing our content to new markets at home and abroad. Working with a market leader with a track record like Triton Digital will enable us to better serve those audiences, as well as our advertising partners that want to reach them.”

Dominick Milano, EVP/Publisher Development & Client Service at Triton Digital, added that his company is “honored to provide them with the technology they need to deliver, measure and monetize their audio content.”
