Citadel Boise’s 1350 KTIK-AM The Ticket has added a 93.1 FM simulcast, becoming the Boise market’s first all-sports FM. So Top 40 KZMG-FM is now the “New 93.1 The Ticket,” Boise’s ESPN Radio station, which also includes their local “Idaho Sports Talk” with Jeff Caves and Mike Prater. KTIK-AM The Ticket will remain the flagship radio station for the Idaho Steelheads and Boise Hawks. All other programming will simulcast on 1350 AM and 93.1 FM. The move made sense: KZMG was tied for 17th at a 1.9 in Boise for the Fall ’10 book. Its competitor, FM Idaho’s KWYD-FM, was tied for 4th place at a 4.6. KTIK-AM was tied for 6th place with a 4.4 in Fall ’10.
