Arbitron announced that Bonneville International has signed a multi-year, multi-market deal for a new software service, PDA Web. That’s the enhanced version of PD Advantage, built for diary measurement, which will give programmers in PPM markets a tool to analyze key audience metrics.

Bonneville is the first radio group to sign for the new product. “The combination of PPM Estimates and PD Advantage Web will provide Bonneville with audience insights that help us make better programming decisions faster,” said Greg Solk, Vice President, Programming, Bonneville International. “With each new PPM market coming online, we are able to use what we’ve learned in LA, Chicago and DC and bring those programming enhancements online right away. Having the tools right out of the box for upcoming PPM markets will be invaluable,” he added in a comment distributed by Arbitron.

PDA Web is an online version of PD Advantage, a programming tool that tracks the top line view of stations’ performances with key audience metrics. The enhanced application of the previous diary ratings tool now analyzes PPM radio ratings data. It allows radio station programmers to determine the station preferences of PPM respondents, when listeners are tuning in and tuning out, and to what stations they are going when they do tune out.
