Bonneville’s Seattle Stations See An ‘Organizational Restructure’

Starting Monday (8/26), the radio stations comprising Bonneville’s Seattle Media Group will have completed a shift in leadership responsibilities that involves the company’s efforts to grow its digital revenue, in addition to enhancing its spoken word programming.


Tina Sorensen, presently Sales Manager of News/Talk KIRO-FM and Talk KTTH, is becoming Director of Digital. She will manage both content and revenue for the Bonneville Seattle Digital Properties.

At the same time, Cathy Cangiano is shifting from the role of Sales Manager for KIRO-AM 710, the local ESPN Radio affiliate, to Director of Sales for KIRO-AM & FM and KTTH, in addition to Seattle Mariners Radio.

Ethan Kelly will hold the role of Sales Manager for KIRO-AM & FM and KTTH.

On the programming side, KIRO-AM PD Mike Salk will become Director of Programming, overseeing KIRO-AM & FM and KTTH-AM 770; Bryan Buckalew is the KIRO-FM PD; and Colleen O’Brien is tapped as the KIRO Radio Managing Editor, leading the news department.

The vacated position of Director of News and Programming for KIRO Radio will not be filled.
