The Boston City Council came to the aid of David Kenny, Weather Channel CEO, who once ran a digital ad agency in Boston and later was president of Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, MA.
The Council passed a resolution 1/31 that praised The Weather Channel and urged DIRECTV to resume negotiations to bring the network back to its lineup.
