The two candidates for the Republican nomination to represent Massachusetts District #4 in the US House of Representatives will face off live on Wednesday morning on “Rush Radio 1200,” the Clear Channel-owned talk outlet, WXKS-AM Boston.
The candidates are Sean Bielat and Earl Sholley. You probably don’t recognize either name, but you will recognize the name of the guy they’re vying to run against: Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA). He’s held the seat since the election of 1980.
Frank is no doubt mentioned frequently on WXKS, though not in complimentary terms, since the station lineup includes Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck.
Morning host Jeff Katz will moderate the one hour debate between Sholley and Bielat live on Wednesday morning (8/11), beginning at 7:00 am. The GOP primary in Massachusetts is September 14th.
